What we collect

Your phone number, name and (optional) email and photo.
Pickup and drop-off places, and your location while you use the app to book or follow a trip.
For drivers: licence, Ghana Card and vehicle documents and photos, and live location while online.
Trip, payment and rating history. Card and MoMo details are handled by Paystack; we do not store them.

Why we use it

To match you with a driver, show live trip progress, take payments, keep everyone safe, answer support requests and meet legal duties.

Who sees it

Your driver sees your first name, pickup, destination and rating during a trip. Passengers see the driver’s name, photo, vehicle and plate. Only the Naakkii team can see driver documents. Our SMS, WhatsApp, maps and payment providers process data for us. We never sell personal data.

How long we keep it

Trip and payment records are kept as long as the law requires. Shared trip links stop showing location when a trip ends.

Your rights

Under Ghana’s Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) you can ask to see, correct or delete your data. Contact Naakkii support on WhatsApp.
